TILL (Trusted Independent Ledger Library) is a free, open-source, MIT-licensed Swiss accounting app. It is local-first, so your books live in a SQLite file on your own machine, and agent-native, so an AI agent can keep them through an MCP server.

Yes. The core is MIT licensed and free, and it runs entirely on your own machine. A Swiss-hosted cloud tier is planned later for teams that want managed banking, e-filing and backups, but the local app does not require it.

TILL is open source and local-first: your data stays on your machine rather than in a vendor cloud, and you can read and change the code. It is also built agent-first, with an MCP server as a real interface rather than an AI feature added to a GUI. TILL is an independent clean-room project and is not affiliated with bexio AG.

Those are the core of the roadmap: QR-bill with the structured-address standard, the three MWST rates (8.1%, 3.8%, 2.6%), the MWST-Abrechnung, and Kontenrahmen KMU. TILL is pre-alpha today, so they are specified and in progress rather than shipped.
